First Level: Foundations of BIM (LOD 0-100)
The Foundations of BIM course is tailored for beginners seeking a comprehensive introduction to the world of Building Information Modeling. From understanding core concepts to hands-on exploration of essential tools, this course provides a solid base for your BIM journey. Dive into LOD 0 to 100, covering project initiation, basic modeling, and collaborative practices. This course sets the stage for a successful BIM career.

Stage 1 (8 Hours): Schematic drawings (LOD 0)

  • Complete Project setup (Units, Dimensions, Levels, Locations).
  • Making Architectural Building Elements for each floors (Wall, Slab, Doors, Windows, Objects, Stairs, Railings, Curtain walls).
  • Creating a Master Layout and floor plan layouts in Archicad (title block and autotext).
  • Creating schedule of zones and Conceptual sketches including circulation plan.
  • 2D drawings floor plans elevations sections including levels.

Stage 2 (11 Hours): Detailed BIM Model (LOD 100)

  • Create attributes to the projects (Layers, Surface, Building Materials, Composites, Custom Profiles).
  • Applying Attributes and properties to the model.
  • Creating layer combinations and Electrical drawings, Plumbing Models, HVAC modelling if necessary.
  • Adding the views to new set of layouts, Making views (Different Types of Plans, Sections, Elevations and 3Ds).

  • 3D Visualization and Specifications & Calculations
Second level: Intermediate BIM Mastery (LOD 200-300)
The Intermediate BIM Mastery course is designed for individuals ready to navigate the complexities of Building Information Modeling. Dive into advanced tools, detailed modeling techniques (LOD 200-300), and project collaboration strategies. This course is ideal for those seeking to enhance their skills and tackle more complex BIM projects through hands-on, project-based learning.

Stage 3 (6 Hours): Construction drawings (LOD 200)

  • Dimension all the necessary drawings.
  • Add all the required Annotations such as Labeling, Dimensions, Texts to each of the drawing setsand update the layouts.
  • Detailed Working Drawing (Structural, MEP) issued to site
  • Conceptual sketches including circulation plan.
  • Energy Simulation and Clash Detection

Stage 4 (6 Hours): Interoperability (LOD 300)

  • Structural IFC exports and MEP IFC Exports.
  • Rendering DAE/SKP/FBX file exports.
  • BIMx file exports for different stakeholders
  • GFC PDFs for sites and approvals and Preparing Sharable PLN files
  • Sharable PLA files and  Issue manager Constructability
Third Level: BIM Specialization (LOD 400 - 500)
The Advanced BIM Specialization course is crafted for experienced professionals ready to master the intricacies of high-level BIM applications. Delve into intricate modeling, advanced coordination, project management (LOD 400 - 500), and real-world case studies. The course concludes with a capstone project, allowing you to showcase your expertise in complex BIM scenarios.

Stage 4 (3 Hours): Presentation (Twin model, Maintenance model) (LOD 400 - 500)

  • BIMx Model Presentation.
  • Walkthrough presentation.
  • Teamwork file sets.
